PS5’s Death Stranding 2 Gets Another New Trailer, But It’s Not Like the Others
Death Stranding 2: On the Beach is right around the corner, and you may have noticed it’s been getting a lot of exposure, especially in the lead up to launch.
That makes perfect sense, of course, but one could argue we’re reaching a point of over-saturation with all these confounding and brilliant trailers, interviews, panels, and so on.
Well, today sees the release of yet another trailer for the PS5 exclusive — but this one is probably the most reserved we’ve ever seen for this game.
At just over three minutes long, it’s definitely the shortest, and unlike the other, more cinematic trailers for DS2, this one puts the emphasis on actual gameplay.

In it, we see Sam Porter Bridges doing what he does best: walking with an extraordinary amount of stuff mounted to his person.
The trailer shows off various new environments we’ll be exploring, as well as new gadgets and vehicles to help make those deliveries a little smoother — although it looks like tougher environmental hazards will balance that out.
We also get a glimpse of the sequel’s photo mode, before it changes gears and shows off the game’s combat and stealth.
It’s the most straight-shooting trailer for a Death Stranding game we can remember; if you’re afraid of spoilers, this is one video you can watch without worry.
