Sony’s latest PS Store promotion is here, and this time, the sale is all about Remasters & Retro. It’s active from now through to the end of 25th June 2025, so you don’t have much time left to grab a bargain.

While it’s a smaller offer than usual, there are still hundreds of games included across PS5 and PS4, so we’ve once again put together a list of recommendations to help you find some top titles.

Each game listed here gets a big thumbs up from Push Square, and they’re all at their lowest price points — some even lower than ever before.

We won’t waste your time — here’s our list of recommendations from the PS Store Remasters & Retro sale.

Atari 50: The Anniversary Celebration (PS5)

$19.99/£17.49 (-50%)

While many of the included games may border on unplayable from a modern perspective, the painstaking attention to detail in Atari 50: The Anniversary Celebration is extremely easy to appreciate. The museum-like carousel of content, from interviews through to original artwork, is presented so handsomely that you can’t not get swept up in Atari’s dramatic story. And the fact that there over 100 of the company’s most famous titles, emulated excellently with their original instruction manuals available to pore over, adds playable context to a lot of the content. This is just an impressive overall experience that will appeal to those who lived through the rise (and fall) of Atari, as well as younger players eager to learn a little more about one of the industry’s true pioneers.

Beyond Good & Evil: 20th Anniversary Edition (PS5)

$13.99/£12.59 (-30%)

A true cult classic, Beyond Good & Evil: 20th Anniversary Edition is a lovely remaster of a PS2 favourite. Playing as freedom fighter Jade, this unique sci-fi adventure has you exploring a weird and wonderful world through the lens of her camera. The remaster brings the visuals up to date and throws in some quality-of-life improvements, but the main reason to play this is for the great story and characters, which remain fresh and charming to this day.

Castlevania Dominus Collection (PS5)

$17.49/£13.99 (-30%)

Anyone who had a Nintendo DS back in the day knows that it boasts a little selection of Castlevania games that are some of the very best in the series — and Castlevania Dominus Collection gives PlayStation loyalists a chance to sample their delights. Featuring Dawn of Sorrow, Portrait of Ruin, Order of Ecclesia, and Haunted Castle, it’s a generous package offering hours of fun exploration, secrets, and boss fights to uncover. With gorgeous pixel graphics, weapon builds to learn, and enemy designs that continually delight, plus some excellent maps to explore and uncover, this is a fantastic little collection that should please any Metroidvania fan.

Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy (PS4)

£13.99 (-60%)

Remember Crash Bandicoot? The madcap marsupial makes a grand return on PS4 in Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, a remake of his first three adventures. The games may be relatively old, but they’ve been brought up to modern standards with colourful graphics and updated gameplay. There’s lots of fun to be had across this trio of platformers, with hours and hours worth of tricky levels to run through.

Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled (PS4)

£12.24 (-65%)

A wonderful recreation of the PS1 original, Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled is a real blast from the past. Drift boosting through beautifully rebuilt tracks in the generous Adventure mode or taking the racing online is a lot of fun. Much like the PS1 title it’s based on, this is an arcade racing game with tight controls, surprising difficulty, and lots to see and do. Despite some areas that could’ve done with modernising, this is probably just about the best kart racer on PS4.

Diablo 2: Resurrected (PS5)

$13.19/£11.54 (-67%)

The resurrection of a real role-playing classic, the aptly named Diablo 2: Resurrected is an expansive remaster of Blizzard’s 2000 title. While this is still very much the Diablo 2 from over two decades ago at its core, Resurrected does bring some welcome quality of life updates to the table, and the ability to jump between the original and revamped visual styles is a nice feature. All in all, the gameplay’s a bit wonky by today’s standards, but that old school atmosphere is hard to beat.

Final Fantasy Pixel Remasters

Final Fantasy Pixel Remasters
  • Final Fantasy: $7.79/£6.16 (-35%)
  • Final Fantasy 2: $7.79/£6.16 (-35%)
  • Final Fantasy 3: $11.69/£9.74 (-35%)
  • Final Fantasy 4: $11.69/£9.74 (-35%)
  • Final Fantasy 5: $11.69/£9.74 (-35%)
  • Final Fantasy 6: $11.69/£9.74 (-35%)

The original six Final Fantasy games return in Pixel Remaster form, bringing these influential RPG classics to modern platforms. You can see the evolution from the very original game through to the beloved FF6, with each game including updated visuals, modernised UI, and more.

(The bundle of all six games is not included in this sale.)

Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective (PS4)

$14.99/£12.49 (-50%)

Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective comes from the mind behind the Ace Attorney series, and while there’s definitely some through-lines, this unique adventure really stands out. You play as a character who’s just died, and must learn the truth behind his own murder — in doing so uncovering a wider conspiracy. Using your ghostly abilities to possess objects and rewind time, this is a wonderfully wacky puzzle adventure with a great story at its core.

Hotline Miami (PS4)

$1.99/£1.59 (-50%)

The pulsating soundtrack, the acid trip visuals, the unapologetic gore — Hotline Miami is a game that’s been copied but never truly replicated. A modern classic, this top-down mobster murder-’em-up is brutal in more ways than one. It’s a thrill ride from the word go, and a must-play for anyone who considers themselves an adrenaline junkie.

Katamari Damacy Reroll (PS4)

$7.49/£6.24 (-75%)

The beloved cult classic returns in Katamari Damacy Reroll, a joyous remaster of the PS2 roll-’em-up. The King of All Cosmos has sent you down to Earth to roll up all manner of objects to create stars, and while the controls take a little getting used to, it remains a very fun, arcade-like experience. Satisfying, fast-paced, and unshakeably odd, there’s nothing quite like this series, and the first game arguably does it best.
