Crazy Rich Asians Star Gemma Chan Is 007 First Light’s Q-tie
007 First Light has received a new trailer, confirming Crazy Rich Asians actress Gemma Chan for the game.
The English star will play Dr. Selina Tan, a quirky assistant to Q, who’s performed by Monarch of the Glen’s Alastair Mackenzie, as previously announced.
Her blurb reads:
“Dr. Selina Tan, played by Gemma Chan, is a brilliant and passionate academic with a background in psychology and game theory whose role at MI6 is critical in Bond’s journey to earning the 00 status in 007 First Light.”
This being a Bond game, James is going to need a few love interests, so it’ll be interesting to see if Tan fits the role as a bumbling academic who just so happens to be drop-dead gorgeous, too.
We’ll find out more as we get closer to the game’s 27th March release date.
