Death Stranding 2’s PS5 Story Could Take a Monstrous 75 Hours to Beat

Death Stranding 2: On the Beach’s story could be almost double the length of its predecessor, with a plot that could take you up to 75 hours to finish.
At least, that’s if estimations from Eurogamer.net’s preview are accurate. The site writes that during a recent hands-on session at Kojima Productions’ futuristic Tokyo office, it was given the opportunity to play the game for a full 30 hours, which represented approximately 40% of the plot.
Now, we’re not Carol Vorderman, but some quick sixth-form maths has helped us extrapolate that the full campaign could run about 75 hours, assuming these numbers are accurate. The original Death Stranding took about 40 hours to beat.
Obviously, this is an open world game, so your time in the Australian outback will vary greatly depending on how many side-quests you interact with and how much exploring you do. But it seems like, just from a core narrative standpoint, this new game will be longer than its predecessor.
