Directive 8020 Will Let You Fix Your Bad Decisions with Turning Points on PS5
Supermassive Games has released a new trailer, and revealed a brand new feature, for its upcoming sci-fi horror narrative adventure, Directive 8020.
The trailer takes us aboard the Cassiopeia once again, where the crew must deal with a horrifying alien threat that mimics them.
A scanner device is able to detect any trace of alien DNA, and it’s a pretty tense scene that puts us in mind of horror classic The Thing.
New to the Dark Pictures series in this game is a feature called Turning Points. Using this system, players are able to rewind the action to important points in the story, where you can make a different decision or search for collectibles you’ve missed.

Much like the previous entries in the series, Directive 8020 is a branching narrative with multiple endings, and this new system gives you the ability to explore its various paths.
However, if you’d rather not have the ability to rewind, you can play the game in Survivor Mode, which disables the Turning Points system and makes you live with your choices and their outcomes.
