Sony evidently has no plans for the Patapon property anymore, so why not let someone else give the series some love?

It turns out Bandai Namco still has an eye for Japan Studio’s output, and so it’s single-handedly reviving the likes of Freedom Wars and Everybody’s Golf, under license of course.

This new trailer offers an overview of its upcoming Patapon 1+2 Replay bundle, which features the first two titles from Sony’s seminal rhythm RPG series.

Those of you who’ve already played these games won’t learn much new here, but some smart quality of life improvements have been incorporated, like difficulty settings and the ability to adjust the timing of the gameplay. (An important addition for those playing on potentially laggy displays.)

Remember, this version of the game is coming to the Switch and PC as well, where it’ll likely find a larger audience due to the novelty of it expanding beyond PlayStation platforms.
