Final Fantasy 16 Is No Longer a PS5 Console Exclusive, Gets Superb Artwork to Celebrate

In case you didn’t hear, Final Fantasy 16 is no longer a PS5 console exclusive.
As was announced during the Xbox Games Showcase, the big-budget action RPG is now available on Xbox Series X|S as well, having already released for PC back in September of last year.
You may recall that Sony had actually helped out with the development of Final Fantasy 16, using its own teams to assist in pushing the game on a technical level. Producer Naoki Yoshida had also gone on record saying that the title wouldn’t have come together like it did without the PS5.
Still, Square Enix is chasing a multiplatform dream right now, and that means getting its heavy hitters on as many systems as possible. Naturally, Final Fantasy 7 Remake is also heading to Xbox later this year — and we doubt that Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth will be far behind.
But hey, an occasion like this gives the publisher an excuse to wheel out some special artwork. Revealed on social media, this new illustration of protagonist Clive Rosfield and the game’s supporting cast — crafted by character designer Kazuya Takahashi — is absolutely gorgeous.
