1. Ninja Gaiden 2 Black – 108 votes (20%)
2. Dynasty Warriors Origins – 94 votes (17%)
3. Sniper Elite: Resistance – 94 votes (17%)
4. Citizen Sleeper: Starward Vector – 60 votes (11%)
5. Tails of Iron 2: Whiskers of Winter – 53 votes (10%)

Revealed (and immediately released!) alongside the Ninja Gaiden 4 announcement, Ninja Gaiden 2 Black is basically an Unreal Engine 5 remake of the beloved 2008 action title.

Truth be told, you lot have put us in a bit of an awkward situation here. Our own Ninja Gaiden 2 Black PS5 review was rather mixed; we appreciated Koei Tecmo’s efforts to modernise the title’s look, but we weren’t quite sold on the hack and slash gameplay all these years later.

“With eventually repetitive gameplay and irritating hangovers from the clunky PS3 era, Ninja Gaiden 2 Black may be fun, but it’s showing its age,” we wrote, awarding the revival a ‘not bad’ 6/10.
