RoboCop: Rogue City – Unfinished Business is promising a shoot first, ask questions later campaign — and that sounds good to us.

As highlighted in a new gameplay video from IGN, which showcases the expansion’s opening gunfights, this is clearly a combat-focused outing, as our intimidating cyborg blasts his way to the top of a dystopian housing complex.

For us, the simplistic but punchy gunplay was a highlight of the base game; blowing away comically villainous criminals with Robo’s Auto 9 was always fun. And so we’re well up for yet more crotch-combusting carnage.

But to be clear, this isn’t just some kind of shallow combat gauntlet. The video also gives us a look at a flashback sequence that sees the human Alex Murphy take on a gang in a much more grounded skirmish. Hopefully these story elements give us something to ponder while racking up kills.
