Fans of Falcom’s long-running Trails series will probably end up remembering 2025 as one of the all-time greats.

Trails through Daybreak 2 already dropped back in February. Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter — a full-on, fantastic looking remake of the original game — is scheduled for the autumn / fall. And now, we’ve just had confirmation that Trails beyond the Horizon (known as Kai no Kiseki in Japan) is being localised later this year as well. That’s a lot of Trails.

Trails beyond the Horizon is the sequel to Daybreak 2. It once again features Van Arkride as the central protagonist, but much like Trails into Reverie and the aforementioned Daybreak 2, the plot is split between multiple groups. And yes, Rean from the Cold Steel games is back (along with Kevin!).
