href=\"https:\/\/support.rockstargames.com\/request\/reddeadredemption2\/online-play-support\/online-migration\">support pages<\/a> this week.<\/p>\n<p>You may have already read our story on GTA 4, where, for a short time, PS4 was listed as a platform for the dreary open world adventure.<\/p>\n<p>Now it\u2019s emerged that there was an \u201conline migration\u201d tab added to Red Dead Redemption 2\u2019s support page. While it\u2019s <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.resetera.com\/threads\/online-migration-tab-appears-on-rockstar-games-support-page-for-red-dead-redemption-2-hinting-at-next-gen-versions-soon.1240863\/\">since been removed<\/a>, it\u2019s raised hopes of a PS5 port for the Western outing being imminent.<\/p>\n<p>Obviously, if Rockstar plans to offer some kind of \u201conline migration\u201d utility, then it implies you\u2019ll be moving your progress from one console to another, much like with GTA 5. Unfortunately, this turned out to be a reunion panel.<\/p>\n<p>Recently, the developer added several new missions to Red Dead Online, years after it said it would no longer update the mode. All of this movement around the game does appear to suggest something may be afoot.<\/p>\n<p>Much like with GTA 4, though, if the label <em>does<\/em> intend to put out a re-release this year, we\u2019d expect it to be announced imminently.<\/p>\n<p>Do you still think an updated version of Red Dead Redemption 2 is en route for PS5?
