I know its neither SP or Ubi&#8217;s fault but its crazy how similar both games are beyond the setting and time period. I love AC and have already put 70 hours into Shadows, but the main revenge quest so far is a little underwhelming after a great start. The various Shinbakfu members don&#8217;t seem to have any concern members of their group are being taken out. Especially when the incentive to explore is largely for cosmetic nonsense. I&#8217;ve no doubt the quality will be better than most of the Ubisoft slop it mimics, but I absolutely noticed the same Ubisoft open world induced feeling of the side content being a slog that I just I wanted to end as I neared the conclusion of Tsushima.<\/p>\n<p>Granted, I did do everything. However that shouldn&#8217;t matter. Was just messing about exploring and stumbled into this house which started a cutscene where I ended up fighting and killing what turned out to be the main guy. Then a pile of people turn up at his house after I killed him and they&#8217;re all on the circle! Especially to hunting down these targets that killed your fam or some loved one. It&#8217;s very very much the formula AC has been using since origins in some form.
