On <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/daniel-drapeau-0767108\/\">LinkedIn<\/a>, Daniel Drapeau confirmed his exit from Haven Studio after serving as game director for four and a half years on the project.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;As of this week, I joined WB Games Montreal Inc. as Creative Director,&#8221; Drapeau said. &#8220;I can&#8217;t wait to start this wonderful adventure with all the great people here at the studio.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Drapeau had been there since the beginning with Fairgames, alongside studio founder Jade Raymond. She left the studio in May 2025 following an internal test that raised concerns, Bloomberg reported at the time. Many of the first-party Games as a Service in the works at PlayStation have been cancelled prior to release, or quickly taken offline in the case of Concord. Meanwhile, Bungie still plans to put out Marathon, but it has been hit by a wave of plagiarism accusations.<\/p>\n<p>For now, Fairgames remains in development publicly, but many feel the writing is on the wall for the co-op heist project.<\/p>\n<p>From people who say they&#8217;ve played the game via a pre-alpha build, Fairgames is described as a &#8220;Battle Royale crossed with an extraction shooter&#8221;, including elements from The Division and Fortnite. Is it going to sell? Probably not. Will it make money back to make it worthwhile? Not a chance. And while they are at it, Herman Hulsts position needs to be looked into by Sony aswell.
