York<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><span><span><span><span><span>, which could provide some additional considerations for your holiday marketing plan.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span>First off, <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><span><span><span><span>Google\u2019s announced that it\u2019s testing <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/blog.google\/products\/ads-commerce\/new-ways-retailers-can-win-over-strategic-consumers\/\" style=\"color:#0563c1\">new ads within its AI overviews<\/a>, which will give brands a direct way to link into its AI-generated responses.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span><span><span><span><span><span><span>Google first started testing Search and Shopping ads in AI overviews back in May, but now, it\u2019s expanding those listings via a new, dedicated element within AI-generated results.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span><span><span><span><span><span><span>As explained by <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/blog.google\/products\/ads-commerce\/new-ways-retailers-can-win-over-strategic-consumers\/\" style=\"color:#0563c1\">Google<\/a>:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span><span><span><em><span><span><span><span>\u201c<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/em><em><span><span><span>For example, when someone asks \u2018why is there low water pressure after installing a new sink\u2019 when they encounter a problem during a home renovation, AI Overviews may provide some helpful tips on how to fix it, as well as a useful ad for a plumber, who can come to the rescue to fix that bathroom.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/em><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<div align=\"center\"><img you can see in this example, now, within the expanded listing of AI-generated answers and links, there\u2019ll also be a new \u201cSponsored\u201d breakout within some results.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span><span><span><span><span><span>And with the use of AI answers rising, resulting in fewer referral clicks, that could be a valuable option to maintain brand awareness and response based on Google listings. Though it will cost you, and there\u2019s no guarantee that people are going to scroll down far enough to see them. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span><span><span><span><span><span>The option will be part of Google\u2019s <\/span><\/span><\/span><a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/blog.google\/products\/ads-commerce\/google-ai-max-expands-globally\/\" style=\"box-sizing:border-box; color:#0563c1; font-variant-ligatures:normal; text-align:start\"><span><span><span><span><span>AI Max for Search campaigns<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a><span><span><span><span><span> (which are <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/blog.google\/products\/ads-commerce\/google-ai-max-expands-globally\/\" style=\"color:#0563c1\">now available to all advertisers globally<\/a>)<span><span><span>, though as noted, it\u2019s still in testing at this stage.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span><span><span><span><span><span>We\u2019re also working on <\/span><\/span><\/span><a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/support.google.com\/google-ads\/answer\/16489313\" style=\"box-sizing:border-box; color:#0563c1; font-variant-ligatures:normal; text-align:start\" target=\"_blank\"><span><span><span><span><span>text guidelines<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span>, a new feature to help you create even more brand-safe creative, steering Google AI to create high-performing text assets that meet your brand and business requirements. All the key details &#8211; from the premium wool blend to the antique logo shank &#8211; are preserved, giving you an authentic, campaign-ready asset in seconds.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\u201d<\/em><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span><span><span><span><span><span>This is an evolving feature of such tools, providing the capacity to ensure that your brand and product elements remain consistent in AI generations, while the rest of the image is built around them.
