reportedly affected development, so the studio is still in the process of casting for the game. And these are results.<\/p>\n<p>Of course, this is all early stuff. Back when PHYSINT was announced, it sounded like there\u2019d be a movie component to the project, with Sony Pictures Entertainment <em>also<\/em> involved. Kojima didn\u2019t really elaborate on that.<\/p>\n<p>PS Studios boss Hermen Hulst did, however, share a short message for Kojima and his team:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s impossible to reflect on our success as PlayStation without recognising the role of Kojima-san and the worlds you\u2019ve built in that journey. Across every generation of PlayStation, your unique vision has set new standards for cinematic storytelling, while consistently redefining gameplay. Your willingness to push boundaries to bring players new experiences is truly one of a kind.<\/p>\n<p>So, when we finally got to meet in 2015 in Amsterdam to start this new partnership between Kojima Productions and PlayStation, I was just thrilled. And it\u2019s been an incredible journey. With Death Stranding, I think Kojima-san and his team truly redefined what a video game could be, both in narrative as well as technical achievement. Seeing what Kojima Productions has been able to do with the Decima Engine \u2013 a piece of tech that\u2019s very close to my heart \u2013 has just been fantastic. And with the recent release of Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, Kojima-san has blown us away once again.<\/p>\n<p>This deep history of collaboration makes it all the more special to be celebrating the 10th anniversary of Kojima Productions today.<\/p>\n<p>Now looking ahead, I know we announced PHYSINT last year, and I just want to reiterate how excited I am for this title.
