The Ivalice Chronicles isn&#8217;t some kind of ground-up remake, but it <em>is<\/em> a very carefully considered remaster, packing new quality of life upgrades and various other enhancements in a bid to be called the definitive experience.<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;re glad that Square Enix has (quite clearly) taken its time with this project. Amongst Final Fantasy titles, Tactics has always been one of the most respected instalments \u2014 a true classic, by almost all accounts. Tactics, like all Matsuno games, is very detailed in the beginning and rushed like there is new tomorrow in the second half and especially the ending.
