Team Cherry&#8217;s highly anticipated sequel dominated headlines thanks to its sudden re-reveal and release, and it <em>seems<\/em> to have gone down well with the Hollow Knight faithful.<\/p>\n<div class=\"for-mobile insert insert-label\">\n<div id=\"inject-primis-player\" data-src-primis=\"https:\/\/live.primis.tech\/live\/liveView.php?s=117168&amp;vp_content=plembed39b4tigwxqjz&amp;cbuster=%%CACHEBUSTER%%&amp;playerApiId=primis_player_float&amp;schain=1.0,1!ziffdavis.com,22392450815,1\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>While being a completely different kind of game, Borderlands 4 found itself in a similar situation. Another long awaited sequel, the looter shooter was actually hamstringed by poor technical performance, which certainly took the edge off what should have been a grand return.<\/p>\n<p>But by and large, Gearbox&#8217;s latest effort has made a splash, and it&#8217;ll be interesting to see whether it can compete with September&#8217;s other heavy hitters in this Game of the Month poll&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>We think Silent Hill F, meanwhile, will end up being a bit divisive amongst fans, but it&#8217;s clearly still a high profile title, and probably tells one of the most memorable tales of any game that launched last month.<\/p>\n<p>Moving on from <em>tales<\/em> to <em>Trails<\/em>, Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter deserves special mention for just how successful it appears to have been. A full remake of Falcom&#8217;s first Trails adventure, the JRPG has racked up eye-popping review scores and now stands as one of the strongest games in the entire series.<\/p>\n<p>Rattling through the rest of September&#8217;s releases, there&#8217;s a lot of variety on offer. From Baby Steps to EA Sports FC 26, it feels like there was something for everyone. Hell, even Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles <em>finally<\/em> became a reality.<\/p>\n<p>with our rambling out of the way, it&#8217;s almost time to vote for <em>your<\/em> Game of the Month.
