Break out the distant screams and tormented cackling whenever you&#8217;re ready&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>October&#8217;s Extra lineup is full of horrible outings, starting with the critically acclaimed Silent Hill 2. Developer Bloober Team won a lot of people over with this full-on remake of the Konami classic, and it&#8217;s a perfect pick for Halloween weekend, if you&#8217;ve got the time.<\/p>\n<div class=\"for-mobile insert insert-label\">\n<div id=\"inject-primis-player\" data-src-primis=\"https:\/\/live.primis.tech\/live\/liveView.php?s=117168&amp;vp_content=plembed39b4tigwxqjz&amp;cbuster=%%CACHEBUSTER%%&amp;playerApiId=primis_player_float&amp;schain=1.0,1!ziffdavis.com,22392450815,1\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>The PS5 version of Until Dawn isn&#8217;t a bad choice either, although some fans will tell you that it&#8217;s actually an inferior port because of odd changes to character models and lighting effects. Still, if you&#8217;ve never played this one before, it&#8217;s worth a look for the sheer shlock.<\/p>\n<p>Beyond that, V Rising is an addictive action RPG with survival crafting elements, and Yakuza: Like a Dragon is&#8230; well, it&#8217;s certainly not a horror title, but it is a damn good time. This was the series&#8217; first foray into proper RPG territory, and it&#8217;s one hell of a ride.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Premium subscribers are once again being asked to be happy with just one game \u2014 but at least that one game is an absolute banger. Looks like I&#8217;ll finally dip my toes in the Silent Hill franchise. It&#8217;s definitely a welcome addition.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve also heard good things about As Dusk Falls so I&#8217;ll give it a go.
