In full, he said (via <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.gematsu.com\/2025\/10\/halo-campaign-evolved-announced-for-ps5-xbox-series-and-pc\">Gematsu<\/a>):<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It\u2019s a huge deal, it\u2019s a long time coming. We\u2019re just super excited to be able to welcome even more players now to the franchise we loved, to fall in love with Halo the same way that we all did 24 years ago here at this point. As a community guy, I know that the Halo community is super excited to welcome in their friends as well \u2014 it\u2019s just going to be more Halo for everyone. And it\u2019s really a new era. It&#8217;s been almost four years since <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.purexbox.com\/games\/xbox-series-x\/halo_infinite\" class=\"external\">Halo Infinite<\/a> released, so the series is definitely due a new entry soon. We\u2019ll have more to share in the months ahead, but for now, you can wishlist today. As the Master Chief once said: &#8216;I think we\u2019re just getting started.'&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Halo on PlayStation begins with Halo: Campaign Evolved in 2026, which remakes the first game&#8217;s single player. It&#8217;ll have entirely new visuals, extra gameplay features, and a remastered soundtrack and new voice acting. I can tell you if exclusives didn&#8217;t exist then Ghost of Yotei, Wolverine, The Last of Us, Forza, Gears, Uncharted, Zelda, Mario and such wouldn&#8217;t exist or wouldn&#8217;t exist as they are. Exclusivity is why Spider-Man 2 can have 60+ costumes with none being MTX, if Sony weren&#8217;t trying to sell a console then the game would be full of MTX and such.
