In a poll, around 65% of you said you were happy with the offering, which included Alan Wake 2.<\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately, that goodwill has not carried across to November 2025\u2019s lineup of Stray, EA Sports WRC 24, and Totally Accurate Battle Simulator.<\/p>\n<p>In our poll, voted on by almost 3,500 members, a devastating 62% of you said you think the selection is underwhelming. This is despite Stray and EA Sports WRC 24 being relatively well received, with ratings of 83 and 80 on <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.metacritic.com\/\">Metacritic<\/a> respectively.<\/p>\n<p>In fact, despite the harsh feedback, data shows that PS Plus Essential\u2019s games have generally been very consistent lately, with September 2025\u2019s offering statistically the best in the last four years.<\/p>\n<p>Push Square readers, perhaps predictably, also unanimously declared that a \u201ccrap\u201d month too.<\/p>\n<p>We suppose it all just comes down to preference really: people generally want highly regarded, recently released, AAA titles \u2013 rather than niche indies which may or may not have great reviews.<\/p>\n<p>Considering Stray did already launch as part of PS Plus Extra, we\u2019re not overly enamoured with this month either to be honest. Some time ago. No one can play it anymore from that period, even if they started it at the time.<\/p>\n<p>Now it&#8217;s available for people to finish or people who missed it, and now they can keep it for as long as they have a sub. Even if they stop their sub and come back.<\/p>\n<p>How is this a bad thing? Ok it&#8217;s a slot that could have been used by something else, but people would only moan it was a game they didn&#8217;t want to play.<\/p>\n<p>For once can we all just stop bitching about every minor slight someone has and just play some games.
