Awards<\/strong> just a little over a week ago, which saw it announce a new Divinity game as part of a statue stunt which captured the industry\u2019s attention for days.<\/p>\n<p>But comments made by boss Swen Vincke about generative AI in a Bloomberg interview afterwards quickly turned sour. efficient or fail to align with who we are, we will make changes\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Vincke now intends to invite fans to ask their <em>own<\/em> questions about its practices in 2026, as part of an AMA which will involve several different departments and teams.<\/p>\n<p>Hopefully this will help to clear up the conversation, because Larian \u2013 one of the more beloved studios in the industry up To me the biggest controversy with Larian flew under the radar completely.<\/p>\n<p>Larian&#8217;s biggest change in Baldur\u2019s Gate 3 wasn\u2019t gameplay, it\u2019s the vibe. Older games like BG1, BG2, and Planescape: Torment treated \u201cGood\u201d as stepping up when something is clearly wrong and being willing to pay a price to fix it. BG3 flips that logic. It treats trying to fix people or behavior as the real mistake. Being \u201cGood\u201d mostly means not judging and not pushing.
