But have no fear, we&#8217;re here to provide a quick recap.<\/p>\n<p>As per usual, three PS5 games are up for grabs, two of which are also available on PS4.<\/p>\n<p>The headliner is probably Need for Speed Unbound \u2014 the somewhat stylised racer from 2022. A super solid drive-&#8217;em-up by almost all accounts.<\/p>\n<div class=\"for-mobile insert insert-label\">\n<div id=\"inject-primis-player\" data-src-primis=\"https:\/\/live.primis.tech\/live\/liveView.php?s=117168&amp;vp_content=plembed39b4tigwxqjz&amp;cbuster=%%CACHEBUSTER%%&amp;playerApiId=primis_player_float&amp;schain=1.0,1!ziffdavis.com,22392450815,1\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Then we&#8217;ve got something much different with Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed, an enhanced remaster of the 2010 Nintendo Wii platformer. Reviews weren&#8217;t <em>quite<\/em> as kind over a decade later, but it&#8217;s still a welcome addition to PS Plus, especially since it comes with a slew of gameplay updates.<\/p>\n<p>And finally, there&#8217;s Core Keeper. Released in 2024, this is a survival sandbox with an emphasis on mining. You can start a new game plus to find them but screw that. It also had underwhelming &#8220;combat&#8221; that isn&#8217;t fun at all. He wanted Epic Mickey and I wouldn\u2019t buy it because I felt like it was a little low stakes a remaster, even if it\u2019s a good game, and now we\u2019ve got Core Keeper on Steam and PS, so he and I can co-op if we ever want to play it. I bought it on Steam because he loves Minecraft and thought it might be better to play on the Deck, but shoot he\u2019s got the Portal. You lose some.<\/p>\n<p>But to think that December was a pretty bad selection offering games they already had on ps plus extra and then do it again for January.<\/p>\n<p>I mean surely youd make either the last month of the year a banger or the firdt month of a new year a banger month and yet both gave us games which have already appeared already.<\/p>\n<p>Slightly dissapointed but reality is if you aversge it out over the year weve had amazing games. Its just a let down the 2 months you think they&#8217;d throw out some heavy hitters.
