<em>any<\/em> mention of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake, meaning that original rumour was wrong.<\/p>\n<p>Just to recap: a fairly well-regarded snoop had said Ubisoft was planning to release the title on 16th January. We think the sands of time on this particular rumour are running out.<\/p>\n<p>There had been rumours that the title may be re-revealed at <strong>The Game Awards<\/strong>, but that was ruled out prior to Geoff Keighley\u2019s show. Meanwhile, a slew of fake stories have come and gone over the past month or so \u2013 some of them fooling even us.<\/p>\n<p>To be fair to Henderson, it\u2019s possible 16th January <em>was<\/em> a targeted release date at one point, but plans can change internally. Perhaps the publisher didn\u2019t feel it was the right time \u2013 or maybe the game still needs a bit more work.<\/p>\n<p>Either way, we don\u2019t think we\u2019ll be waiting <em>too<\/em> much longer for this title. It\u2019s been several years since its originally intended release date, and while we appreciate development has been rebooted since then, we\u2019d put money on an early 2026 release.<\/p>\n<p>Just
