However, it adds that &#8220;initial performance did not meet our expectations,&#8221; obviously suggesting its internal targets were not met.<\/p>\n<div class=\"for-mobile insert insert-label\">\n<div id=\"inject-primis-player\" data-src-primis=\"https:\/\/live.primis.tech\/live\/liveView.php?s=117168&amp;vp_content=plembed39b4tigwxqjz&amp;cbuster=%%CACHEBUSTER%%&amp;playerApiId=primis_player_float&amp;schain=1.0,1!ziffdavis.com,22392450815,1\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>The publisher is &#8220;aiming to sell approximately another 1 million units within this fiscal year,&#8221; by which it means the end of March 2026.<\/p>\n<p>It hopes to achieve that by &#8220;encouraging players to enjoy the game over time through the continued support of the title including ongoing release of additional downloadable content&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Indeed, since its launch in September of last year, Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds has been updated with several free characters to race as, and multiple premium DLC packs have also been released, adding more characters, cars, and tracks from other brands.<\/p>\n<p>There are still a couple of DLC packs to come, introducing Nickelodeon&#8217;s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Avatar properties to the colourful kart racer.<\/p>\n<p>Whether SEGA has plans for much more after that remains to be seen.
