A sequel was released for the PS4 in 2020, and this is the latest version.<\/p>\n<p>The blurb reads:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cBrigandine: Abyss is a brand-new entry in the storied franchise, featuring a completely unique world that even unfamiliar players can dive right into. \u201cendlessly replayable\u201d, then, and it certainly does look like it\u2019s going to seriously scratch that SRPG itch.<\/p>\n<p>Obviously you can\u2019t really beat Fire Emblem in this category, but the studio does have some alumni from the Nintendo franchise working on it, so it may end up the next best thing on PS5.<\/p>\n<p><!-- cache:
