But tough luck if you were, because Konami has ripped them from Sony\u2019s PS3 storefront without any prior notice.<\/p>\n<p>Word has <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/SlySinatraa\/status\/2023502331527184872\">spread across social media<\/a> about the delistings, and it even expands to the original PSP version of Peace Walker as well.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"object object-tweet\"><!-- cache: oembed\/https:\/\/twitter.com\/slysinatraa\/status\/2023502331527184872 @ 2026-02-17T04:58:01+00:00 --><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" align=\"center\"><p><span lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Without warning, Konami have delisted the Xbox 360\/PS3\/PSP version of Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker and the 2014 PSN release of Metal Gear Solid 4<\/p>\n<p>The store page for PW HD on PS3 is completely gone.<\/p>\n<p>Shame on them for this. <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/gAnj9gGczR\">pic.twitter.com\/gAnj9gGczR<\/a><\/span>\u2014 Sly (@SlySinatraa) <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/SlySinatraa\/status\/2023502331527184872?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">February 16, 2026<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/aside>\n<p>The company has clearly removed them in preparation for the PS5\u2019s new Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol 2, which includes updated ports of both of the aforementioned games.<\/p>\n<p>But the logic makes no real sense to us: we can\u2019t imagine many people will be dusting off their crusty old consoles in order to purchase these originals ahead of the new compilation.
